Junior Handler Day on the Shoot  Report & Results

Westerdale Saturday 14th December 2019

Trainers Glynn Coupar & Cath Kitching

We had our best ever Junior Handler Day on the shoot at Westerdale.   The combination of well presented birds and accurate shooting made for a good day.   Our hosts really did us proud.

Once again Glyn Coupar and Cath Kitching were our trainers and they both did a splendid job.

In spite of the intense cold experienced in 2018 the Juniors came back and were even better this year.

The winner, Tallulah Dyson, had superb control when directing her dog.

Watch out you adults we may have a champion here.

We were lucky with the weather as, although it was cold, it was dry with a smattering of sunshine.

At the end of the training we had the usual soup, savouries and cake for all and of course drew the raffle.

Then there was the prize giving and this year Carol Parsons donated a mug for “The Best Dog on the Whistle”.

A good day was had by all.
